Where the prefilled rate comes from
Each template derives an hourly wage from the BLS OEWS May 2025 national median for the trade (annual over 2,080 hours), then applies a stated 2 to 2.5x rule-of-thumb multiplier for overhead, insurance, vehicle, non-billable time, and profit. Both numbers print on the template with their source, labeled as a starting point, never as market data. Every trade also gets a $24 bundle with editable spreadsheet versions once checkout opens; each template page takes reservations.
